Dubai: A new Hilton Hotels and Resorts property is coming to Qatar.

Hilton Worldwide’s plan with Qatar investors Al-Rayyan Hospitality to develop the property at Salwa Beach was announced in a statement by the US-based hotel operator on Monday.

The development, which is expected to be the largest of its kind in the Middle East, will cover 104 hectares of prime land and coastline in the South West corner of Qatar.

The 362-room Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas will form the centrepiece of the resort’s plan. It will feature a waterpark, a luxury marina and yacht club, cinemas and retail outlets, among others.
