Dubai: Hotel operator Accor Middle East announced on Tuesday that it has launched a hospitality management training programme for Saudi Arabian professionals in the hospitality industry.

The Saudi Management Training Programme is designed to encourage Saudis to join the hospitality industry and to develop their careers in the field. It involves a 15-month curriculum, which includes a full academic term, alongside training.

The program is divided into two stages, which covers the development of fundamental skills related to hospitality, and acquiring management skills. Participants that pass the final examination are awarded an official Accor Diploma.

The programme is created by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and Accor’s training academy Tamheed.
