Abu Dhabi: Shoaib Abdul Fattah, Media Advisor at the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, has said that during July, Egypt witnessed a significant increase in tourist traffic, especially from the UAE, as the percentage of Emirati tourists increased by 304 per cent compared to June 2014.

Abdul Fattah also noted the increase of tourism traffic from Saudi Arabia, up by 268 per cent and Kuwait by 269 per cent during the same period. He said that Egypt expects an increase in the number of tourists and income from the tourism sector of between 5 and 10 per cent during the current year and between 15 and 20 per cent during 2015, especially in light of the steady increase in stability experienced by Egyptian life at various economic and security levels.
