Dubai: Turkey has been declared as the host for the conference on Halal Tourism- a sector that is currently worth $150 billion (Dh550.5 billion), organisers of the event, CM Media, said in a statement on Thursday.
The Halal Tourism Conference 2015 will bring together delegates from across the globe to discuss and shape the agenda on Halal Tourism. More than 1,000 delegates from over 50 countries, including industry experts, international speakers, specialists and tourism suppliers are expected to attend the event which will take place in Istanbul, the organisers said.
