Dubai: Swiss International has signed an agreement with Al Shiha Holdings to enter into a joint venture and a development and representation contract, according to a statement on Wednesday.

Both companies will form an entity called Swiss International Middle East. It will operate hotels in the region, including in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Iraq and Jordan. The company’s management team will be under the leadership of Naji Al Shiha as chief executive. Mohammad Al Shiha will be CFO, while Jamal Abd Saih Hamed will be head of business development, and Ghazi Ghorayeb will be COO.

Swiss International Middle East will operate Swiss International Dammam, Swiss International Al Baha, Swiss Spirit Hotel and Suites Rimal and Swiss Spirit Hotel and Suites Turaif. It expects to announce properties in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Dammam and Dubai.
