DUBAI: Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre hosted 296,374 local and international visitors in the first half of 2017, an increase of 4 per cent over the previous year.

Jamal Al Taher, Acting Director of RAK Exhibition Centre, said the figures indicated the stability of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) sector in Ras Al Khaimah, and its contribution to the emirate’s economy.

The centre, one of the oldest exhibition centres in the UAE, held nine exhibitions during the period, and Al Taher said it was working on a development plan to attract more to the emirate, as well as maintain its high level of social responsibility through supporting the community.
