Ras Al Khaimah’s Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) said that over 631,000 people visited the emirate in the first nine months of 2017, a 9 per cent year-on-year increase.

In the first nine months of this year, occupancy rates at hotels there also rose 1.3 per cent to reach 69 per cent, while length of stay went up 9 per cent to 3.55 days.

RAKTDA is aiming to attract a total of 900,000 visitors to the emirate in 2017, and one million visitors by the end of 2018.
