Set to be finished in early 2019, the hotel will be located in Makkah
DUBAI
Jumeirah Group is set to enter Saudi Arabia for the first time in early 2019 with a new hotel in Makkah, according to a statement released by parent company Dubai Holding on Sunday.
The state investment conglomerate said in the statement that it had signed an agreement with Jabal Omar Development Company, a Saudi real estate company, to develop the Jabal Omar Jumeirah Makkah Hotel.
The five-star hotel will be walking distance from the Holy Mosque and comprises four towers, with over 1,000 rooms, 93 villas, and 90 retail units.
