DUBAI: Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened The Hotel Show and Leisure Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Saturday.

The 17th edition of The Hotel Show brought together 600 companies from around the world, showcasing products needed to build, develop and maintain hotels and leisure facilities, according to a statement from the show’s organisers, dmg events.

“Providing valuable networking opportunities for hoteliers and industry professionals offers Dubai an ideal platform for the city to showcase its diverse accommodation portfolio, ranging from luxury five-star resorts to mid-market hotels and more,” stated Issam Kazim, chief executive of the Dubai Corporation of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.

The Hotel Show and Leisure Show along with the Piscine Middle East, a pool and spa exhibition, are expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors over three days.
