Dubai: Do you have more than a million dirhams to spare? If money’s not a problem, you can take home a piece of luxury by spending a fortune on a pair of shoes covered with real diamonds and precious stones.

The limited edition high heels has been created by a UAE-based entrepreneur and is being claimed to be the only footwear  in the world that is adorned with 54 carats of white diamonds and 416.2 carats of white sapphires.

There is only one piece available for sale worldwide and it carries a price tag of $300,000 (Dh1.1 million).

The million-dirham footwear is one of the five pieces featured in the first collection recently released by Jada Dubai, a UAE-based fashion brand.

According to cofounder, Majari Maria, past student of Esmod Dubai Fashion Institute, it took one year to produce the pair, as they had to collaborate with precious stone specialists from three countries.

The other four shoes in the collection are also adorned with precious stones and inspired by royalties, including Princess Diana, Grace Kelly, Cleopatra and French empress Josephine. Their price tags? They range between $3,720 and $5,310.
