Sharjah to host its first shopping festival

Abu Dhabi: The first edition of the Sharjah Shopping Festival is set to take place from March 3-19, 2016 at the emirate’s Expo Centre.

The first consumer event of its kind in Sharjah, the retail extravaganza will see various discounts, entertainment offers, themed pavilions, food courts, draws and prizes targeted at residents and tourists.

The Shopping Festival will also offer local businesses a platform to promote their products and services, and increase their brand value through exhibits and sponsorships.

The event is expected to attract over 60,000 visitors during its 17-day run.
