Dubai: A Dubai-based consumer technology brand, Quantum Global, has launched the first dual operating system tablet — Q-Pulse101.

It runs on Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2 systems and comes bundled with Microsoft Office Home and Student edition. It can be upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Android KitKat versions.

The Q-Pulse 101 offers power-packed features and is powered by Intel N2805 Celeron 1.4GHz processor, 2GB memory, 64GB storage and microSD slot that supports up to 64GB.

It comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display panel, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and has WiFi and 3G models. The device has a 2MP rear and 2MP front-facing camera that includes a G-sensor, Gyroscope, E-compass ambient light.

The Q-Pulse 101 offers power-saving technologies for up to 6-hours usage between charges.

Weighing 588 grams, the Q-Pulse 101 is encased in metal and has a 1280 x 800 resolution that allows for vivid picture and video quality. With a keyboard docking option for accessories, Q-Pulse 101 is a quality tablet offering at an affordable price point.

For Gitex, it is priced at Dh899 instead of the usual price of Dh1,399.
