Dubai: Jumbo Electronics has confirmed a three-day warehouse sale in Dubai from Thursday, and its first since 2010. All of its mainline product categories and brands could be on sale at prices available during the recent DSF 2012 and even lower.

The sale, which is expected to attract more than 20,000 shoppers, will be held at the Shaikh Zayed Hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

"While shoppers get a chance to seek more discounts, for Jumbo it means an opportunity to refresh the inventory," said a spokesperson. "Now, with the warehouse sale we get an opportunity to get up to date on the newer models and technology."

Thus, a Supra LED television can be had for Dh969 and the aggressive pricing also extends to the laptops and the Sony range.

Inventory management is a key element for any electronics distributor and last year was one of the toughest from that perspective because of the earthquake in Japan in March 2011 and the floods later in the year in Thailand.

"Given the scale of the current event we would advise our customers in all emirates to take advantage of the offers at this event."
