Dubai: The UK’s upmarket department store John Lewis will be making its UAE presence felt at the Dubai Festival City Mall from next year.
This was confirmed by the Al-Futtaim Group, which has entered a wholesale agreement with the fabled retailer.
Under the terms of the agreement, John Lewis will have shop-in-shop presence at the Robinsons department store owned by Al Futtaim Group, which is also due to open next year. At 1,500 sq ft, the John Lewis outlet will be the UK retailer’s largest overseas shop-in-shop.
Al Futtaim Group said in a statement: "John Lewis will be doubling its product assortment compared to its existing international collaborations, offering Dubai Festival City Mall’s shoppers its label furniture, cookware, textiles, glassware and nursery products in addition to the retailer’s household bed, bath, living and gifting assortments."
