Dubai: Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC is offering 10 gifts for buyers of its flagship device, the HTC 10.

The 10 gifts include Quick Charge 3.0, Hi-Res Audio earphones, two-year warranty, screen-protection programme for up to six months, Dh100 worth of credit to use with Uber, a free one-month subscription to Go Online TV, the video-on-demand platform powered by OSN, 24 hours customer support and replacement warranty, screen cover, a finger slip and 32GB SD card, which translates into Dh1,030.

“If we are not able to repair the device in 24 hours, the customer gets a new device within the warranty period. But if a customer insists that he wants his own device, then he can collect it within five days,” said Nikitas Glykas, president of HTC Middle East and Africa.

The 5.2-inch quad HD (1440 x 2560) device is powered by Qualcomm 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of RAM. The microSD card supports up to 2TB of storage expansion.

The 10 comes with HTC Sense 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. 

It houses a 12MP “Ultra Pixel” camera (f/1.8 lens) with optical image stabilisation and laser autofocus, while the front-facing camera offers 5MP with its own OIS (f/1.8 lens) as well. The camera can also capture 4K video with 24-bit high-resolution audio. The phone is priced at Dh2,199.
