Emirates Islamic, a UAE-based Islamic financial institution, has partnered with global payments technology company, Visa, to launch the Emirates Islamic Skywards Visa Signature credit card, the bank said in a statement on Monday.

The card is aimed at supporting the affluent segment of the UAE’s society, and earning its owner up to 1.5 Skywards Miles for every dollar spent on the card

Commenting on the launch of the new card, Wasim Saifi, Deputy CEO — Consumer Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates Islamic, said in a statement: “We are delighted to launch this new premium credit card in line with the evolving preferences of our affluent customer segment. Travel has become an integral part of life in the UAE, and Emirates Islamic’s Visa Signature card specifically caters to premium frequent travellers.”
