Dubai: UAE consumers are headed for a full weekend of mega shopping frenzy, as hundreds of retailers across the city's shopping malls begin marking down their prices by up to 90 per cent today, Thursday.
The three-day Super Sale in Dubai has just kicked off, and shoppers are assured of “unbeatable discounts” on clothes, shoes, bags – even grocery items.
Majid Al Futtaim has confirmed that French hypermarket brand Carrefour is offering an exclusive sale of up to 90 per cent off, and deals are up for grabs at the grocery aisles in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Me’aisem.
“This is an ideal time for visitors to avail from incredible discounts as we approach the end of the year with national celebrations and the festive season,” said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, managing director for Majid Al Futtaim properties, shopping malls (UAE, Bahrain and Oman).
At least 414 brands and 1,500 shops across Dubai's shopping malls are slashing their prices by 30 per cent to 90 per cent from today through Saturday, as retailers make room for new season lines.
The “3 Day Super Sale” is a regular fixture of Dubai’s retail calendar and is spearheaded by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism.
