Dubai: State-run Saudi Aramco has set its March contract price for propane at $480 (Dh1,762) a tonne, down from $525 a tonne in February, the company said on Wednesday.

The price provides a benchmark against which Middle East sales of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Asia are priced.

Saudi Aramco’s contract prices for propane and butane per tonne in US dollars were set as follows: Propane for March is at $480 and for February it was $525, a change of $35. For Butane, the March price is $465 and for February it was $505, a change of $40.
