KUWAIT: Kuwait will host the 142nd executive bureau meeting of OAPEC, Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, which will be held on 10th and 11th of October.
According to the Kuna News Agency, the Secretary-General of OAPEC, Abbas Ali Al-Naqbi, said in a statement that, “The meeting’s agenda will include items connected with the organisation’s estimated budget for 2016.”
The Secretary-General went on to say, “The meeting will also include discussions on a draft amendment to the organisation’s statute concerning the OAPEC Award for Scientific Research.”
The meeting will be headed by Qatar’s Shaikh Mishaal Bin Jabor Al-Thani, Chair of the Executive Bureau.
