Dubai: Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade with Japan reached Dh31 billion in the first nine months to September down from Dh44 billion in the same period last year.

“Dubai Customs is keen to directly engage with all Japanese businesses based in Dubai through our Irtibat link channel, so as to solve any issues they may face and help maximise their performance and trade returns,” Ahmad Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs said a statement. He received Japan’s Consul-General in Dubai Akima Umezawa, where they discussed reinforcing mutual cooperation to enhance trade and customs ties between the United Arab Emirates and Japan, the statement added.
