Dubai: Weighed by Friday’s five per cent fall in oil prices, Dubai stocks dropped to its lowest level in more than 11 months on Sunday.

Led by construction majors, the Dubai Financial Market General Index registered a  4.01 per cent decline at 3,131.65, after hitting a low of 3,134.76, a level last seen in early January last year.

Emaar Properties, along with Arabtec and Damac Properties, led the decline in Dubai. Emaar Properties was 4.21 per cent lower at Dh5.85, while Arabtec was 9.32 per cent lower at Dh1.07.

Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange General Index was also down 2.59 per cent to be at 4,091.37.
