Revenues rise 13 per cent to Dh1.05 billion driven by robust e-commerce growth
Dubai: Logistics and transportation solutions provider Aramex on Sunday reported a first-quarter profit of Dh96.9 million, registering a 12 per cent increase compared to Dh86.6 million a year earlier.
The strong performance was driven by growth across all its geographies. International Express recorded a strong performance during the quarter, driven primarily by robust e-commerce growth across all markets.
Revenues in the first quarter increased to Dh1.05 billion, up 13 per cent compared to Dh930 million a year earlier.
Aramex’s The Domestic Express business saw an increase in revenues in key markets, particularly in the Asia-Pacific, where Aramex revenue growth for the quarter was positively impacted by the acquisition of Fastway Couriers.
