Abu Dhabi: NMC Health, a private health care provider, announced it has entered agreements to acquire two UAE-based health care services providers, Americare Group, and Dr Sunny Healthcare Group, at a total value of $100 million (Dh367 million).
The acquisitions are part of NMC’s growth strategy, and are expected to add value to the group, as well as extend its presence in Sharjah as well as Fujairah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
Americare Group is a provider of in-home health care services mainly in Abu Dhabi, while Dr Sunny Healthcare is a network of six medical centres and three pharmacies in Sharjah.
