Dubai: Dubai developer Nakheel awarded a Dh4 million contract to ILF Consulting Engineers (Dubai branch) for sewage treatment plant work at Dubai’s Deira Islands.
Under the agreement, Austria-based ILF will oversee the design and construction supervision of the STP and lifting station, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2017, Nakheel said in a statement today.
The STP will be developed in two stages. The first phase, covering years 2017 to 2022, will be designed to handle 20,000 cubic metres per day, while the second, for 2022 to 2042, will have an additional 17,000 cubic metres.
