Dubai: German recycling company SOEX Group is said to invest €5 million (Dh20.7 million) and employ up to 400 in Sharjah’s Hamriyah Free Zone, according to a statement from the free zone’s authority on Sunday.
SOEX, who recycles textiles, has leased more than 300,000 square feet of land in the free zone, the statement said, where it plans to build a plant “as soon as possible”.
SOEX said it will employ between 300 and 400 staff in Sharjah and export 50 per cent of what it makes in the emirate to African countries.
