Arabtec Construction appoints new CEO
Boyd Merrett to join from CIMIC Group effective July

Dubai: Arabtec Holding, the Dubai-listed construction firm, announced on Sunday the appointment of Boyd Merrett as chief executive officer of Arabtec Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group.
He will join Arabtec from CIMIC Group where he was general manager for Leighton Asia in Hong Kong, responsible for winning and delivering projects worth over $7 billion (Dh25.6 billion). Merrett has over 24 years of experience in construction spanning the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa.
He will assume his new role in July 2017.
