Dubai: Commercial Bank International (CBI) yesterday inaugurated its first branch in Abu Dhabi that reflects its new corporate identity. The branch was inaugurated by His Excellency in the presence of senior bank officials and other eminent dignitaries.
The new branch marks the first CBI branch with the modern look and the first in the series of customer-centric branches to open.
CBI had recently unveiled its new corporate identity with its new motto of answering customers' requests and needs. The identity launch was followed by a plethora of retail offers and promotions that saw the bank taking a firm hold in the booming retail baking market in the region.
Strategic location
Speaking at the branch inauguration, Khamis Mohammad Buharoon, CBI Chief Executive, said, "The new branch is the first in Abu Dhabi to sport the new look of our bank and it is in keeping with the promise we made to our customers to bring the best in banking to answer all their needs.
"This new branch has all the latest in banking technology and will serve the varied needs of our customers in Abu Dhabi. We intend to follow this launch with more branches in the near future."
CBI currently has a network of 8 branches and 18 ATMs spread across the UAE and had earmarked more branches and ATMs across various strategic locations throughout the country.
In addition to its branch expansion plans, CBI has a host of innovative ideas in the pipeline, and will soon be introducing customised products to suit today's evolving customer needs extending towards real estate, Islamic banking and brokerage services.
