Dubai: Rouge Couture, a retailer of fashion abayas, said Monday it had opened its new flagship boutique in Dubai. The shop is designed as a "walk into another world of Emirati fashion", the retailer said.

"We really put a lot of effort into this boutique and it has been challenging, but with every obstacle comes a great triumph, and I feel the opening of this boutique is proof of that," said Sara Al Madani, co-founder of Rouge Couture.

"Now that it's finally open I hope that people will come to our boutique not only to shop, but to pass by, sit and relax. I've always wanted my clients to feel like they're at home and a part of our family, after all, we wouldn't be where we are today without their support and I'm grateful for that," Al Madani added.

In 2007, Sara Al Madani and Apple Wang decided to create a unique trend in abayas, one that collaborated Arabian and Chinese design.

"The designs of Rouge Couture are simple yet elegant," Wang added. "One size fits all, but our tailors are happy to make any adjustments necessary, should the client request."

For now Rouge Couture has three locations in the UAE, in Ajman, Sharjah and now in Dubai. They have also launched their online shopping site. Rouge Couture also offers uniquely designed fashion jalabeyas. The new shop is located on Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah.
