DUBAI: Lenovo’s 27-inch multimode Horizon 2 is an all-in-one that can act as a traditional tabletop PC and as a tablet for the family.

The device is 0.8-inch thick and it is stylish. Don’t think of carrying it as a normal tablet as it weighs more than two kilos.

“It offers a multi-user experience when used as a tablet and will allow friends and family to interact with it at the same time as it is touch-enabled,” said Mohammed Hilili, general manager at Lenovo Gulf.

He said that two or more people can access content through the new Aura interface. It comes with more than 60 multi-user games and educational apps and good for children at home.

“It is a PC for the whole family where children can play digital games with the included Joystick, striker and e-dice,” he said.

It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with two USB 3.0 ports and an SD card reader. The built-in Near-Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth 4.0 technology makes it easier to share files.

It is powered by fourth-generation Intel i7 processor and runs on Windows 8.1 operating system with 8GB RAM and 2GB dedicated graphics. The hard disk capacity is 1TB and 8GB solid state drive for faster booting. It is priced at Dh6,999.
