Dubai: HP’s new six-inch and seven-inch Slate VoiceTab is more than a tablet and smarter than a phone. More than the features, price is the one which will attract the consumers.

It is a full-featured tablet powered by a quad-Core1.2GHz processor and built on the Android operation system with voice-calling capability. It runs on Android 4.2 operating system and has 1,280 x 800 pixel IPS display.

The Slate comes equipped with a 3G dual SIM feature, front-firing stereo speakers, 5MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera. It weighs 160 grams.

Mathew Thomas, general manager for printing and personal systems at HP Middle East, said that the line between the smartphone and the tablet is blurring. Consumers are looking for consolidated devices.

With a micro SD card slot, users can enjoy up to 32GB of storage on the new tablet. The in-built storage capacity is 16GB. Users also have access to HP Connected Photo, which enables them to sync photos across various devices through the cloud.
