Peru to showcase products at Gulfood 2015

Dubai: Peru, a top exporter of organic coffee and a producer of paprika and organic bananas, will participate at Gulfood 2015, according to a statement on Sunday.

According to the trade, tourism and investment office of Peru, nine food sector companies will participate in the event, which takes place from February 8 to 12 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Peru grows over 4,000 varieties of potato, as well as around many varieties of corn, chillies, mangoes, grapes, asparagus, grains and beans.
