Dubai: Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) said it has launched a creative marketing and advertising campaign for the Dubai Shopping Festival 2011, a month before the festival is due to begin on January 20.

The festivities will be held for 32 days to February 20.

DEPE, an agency under the Dubai Department of Economic Development and the organiser of the event, has outlined a marketing plan targeting regional and international markets.

DEPE said in a statement that Dubai Shopping Festival 2011 would enhance the theme of "One World. One Family. One Festival" through an extensive calendar of events focusing on the main attributes of the event: shopping, winning, and festivities, thereby transforming Dubai into a world that brings together families of many nationalities for one celebration.

Connection

This year's campaign, "Make the Celebrations Yours", reflects the connection between the festival's entertainment and celebratory activities. Visitors can look forward to enjoying their time with their families in Dubai during the festival which is known to be the longest such global event in the world.
