Dubai: The spectacular Dubai Light and Sound Show was officially launched on Thursday at Wafi, a key sponsor. The show, which is the first of its kind in the region, is a highlight of Wafi's activities during the 16th edition of the festival.
The official launch was attended by Ebrahim Saleh, Festivals Coordinator General and Deputy CEO of Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment, and Abdullah Ebrahim, Director of Local Affairs at MKM Holdings.
The brilliant spectacle is a synchronised light and sound show featuring Egyptian-themed graphics and a storyline depicting ‘The Return of the Pharaohs'. The show will run every evening throughout the year in the splendour of Wafi's beautiful Egyptian-themed Central Courtyard.
The Dubai Light and Sound Show is projected across the Pyramids and the other Egyptian-themed buildings in the Central Courtyard where the outdoor ambience and state-of-the-art special effects of this unique show create an awesome display.
Additionally, shoppers and visitors will be entertained with vibrant carnival displays by various performers including jugglers, stilt walkers, unicyclists, and musicians to showcase the festive feeling of DSF. Show timings are 7pm and 8.30pm on weekdays and 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
