Frankfurt: Adidas AG, the world’s second-biggest sporting-goods maker, reported second-quarter profit that topped analysts’ estimates and raised its full-year forecast as revenue increased in China, North America and European emerging markets. Net income rose 18 per cent to 165 million euros (Dh745 million), the Herzogenaurach, Germany-based company said on Thursday, compared with the 157 million-euro average estimate of seven analysts compiled by Bloomberg. Adidas said it now sees profit increasing 15-17 per cent this year.
