Dubai: The city’s latest multi-billion dirham project is expected to be completed by 2020. But you won’t have to wait that long to see how it will look like.

Property developer Emaar recently released a video online, titled, “Fly Through Dubai Creek Harbour,” which provides viewers with two minutes of footage of how the newest project in Dubai will look like.

Once constructed, the Dh3.65 billion project will also boast to holding the world’s tallest tower at 928 metres high, and will be known as The Tower.

The skyscraper will be the centrepiece of a six square kilometre master-development that will be the Dubai Creek Harbour.

According to previous Gulf News reports, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, described the tower as a unique architectural masterpiece on a par with Burj Khalifa and Eiffel Tower.

The Tower will comprise of residential and leisure features including a 360 viewing deck called The Pinnacle Room, and a VIP observation deck with landscaping meant to recreate the “splendour of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon,” according to an Emaar statement.

It will also feature fully glazed rotating balconies that extend outward, rotating outside the skin of the tower, as well as a boutique hotel for visitors.

The Tower is located off the Dubai Creek next to the Ras Al Khor National Wildlife Sanctuary, which is an area protected under the UNESCO Ramsar Convention and home to over 67 species of water birds.

The harbour will also provide room for a boutique hotel, and according to Gulf News reports, The Tower will Emaar released a one-minute video clip of The Tower, which features multiple observation decks and leisure options overlooking a sprawling city landscape.
