Dubai: Dubai Sports City (DSC) DSC has signed a concession agreement with Veolia — through its local operations and maintenance company Moalajah — to manage, maintain and enhance wastewater facilities within the 50 million square feet mixed-use development for a period of 10 years. Veolia will operate DSC’s sewerage treatment plant, and the resultant recycled wastewater and treated effluent will be used to irrigate the sports facilities and gardens within the community. This includes The Els Club’s 18-hole championship golf course, the ICC Academy’s two cricket ovals and adjoining practice pitches and the Dubai International Stadium, among others.
