Abu Dhabi: Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, cultural, and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, revealed on Tuesday the first residential development in Saadiyat Cultural District.
The development, named Mamsha Al Saadiyat (meaning Saadiyat Walk), is a 1.4 kilometre beachfront mixed-use project, which will be showcased at Cityscape Global 2014. Comprising five clusters, each nearly 250 metres long, the development will feature nine low-rise residential buildings including apartments and townhouses. The unit sizes will range from one to four-bedrooms to lofts and penthouses, with a gross floor area from 106 to 454 square metres.

“Due to its unique location, community features, and services, we anticipate strong demand for Mamsha Al Saadiyat as it will offer residents an address like no other in the world before,” said Ali Al Hammadi, TDIC’s chief executive officer.

All buildings will also feature ground-level retail offerings and pool terraces. The project is expected to be developed in phases, and will include a serviced apartment building, and a retail village offering around 5,000 square metres for retail and dining outlets.

Ahmad Al Fahim, executive director marketing, communications, sales, and leasing at TDIC, said he expected the units to attract both local and international investors.

“The fact that residents can access the best cultural, retail, and educational offerings minutes just from their homes re-enforces just how distinctive and valuable Mamsha Al Saadiyat is – whether from a community or investor perspective,” Al Fahim said.
