Abu Dhabi: The Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, announced on Sunday that it has awarded the enabling works contract for Phase 1 of the Saadiyat Lagoons District to Western Bainoona Group for General Contracting.
The six-month contract covers ground improvements, in addition to site clearance, according to the company. Saadiyat Lagoons, the largest district on the Saadiyat Island was launched this year during Cityscape Abu Dhabi. It is expected to become home to 29,000 residents across more than 4,300 residential units.
