DUBAI: Shaikh Fahim Bin Sultain Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations, on Tuesday inaugurated the 4th Middle East Investment and Real Estate Exhibition (Acres Middle East 2017) in Sharjah.

The even, which runs until March 23, features 45 local, regional and international exhibitors from across the real estate sector, including development, investment and related services.

The event was organised by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department.

Abdullah Bin Owais, Chairman of Sharjay Chamber, said the event would shed light on urban development in Sharjah and promote investment. He said it was an important business-to-business networking platform for professionals.

Khalid Mohammad, director of Acres 2017, said that the exhibition is an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to promote their existing and reveal their future projects, and for financing providers to offer their financing plans and solutions to potential buyers.

Abdul Aziz Fikri, Senior Manager of Al Sajaa Industrial Oasis (ASIO), said, “Platforms like Acres allow groundbreaking projects like ASIO to be featured on a regional and global scale. This facilitates a closer connection to clients and allows developers to show how our projects can benefit our clients in the short and long term.”
