Abu Dhabi: Aldar Properties, the Abu Dhabi-based developer, announced that it has sold out the first phase of 267 units at Yas Acres, generating Dh1 billion in sales.

Public sales for the 125 units that comprise the second phase of Yas Acres will commence on June 18 at Aldar’s new sales centre on Yas Island.

The second phase includes three-bedroom town houses, three-bedroom duplexes, four-bedroom duplexes, four-bedroom villas, and five- and six-bedroom golf-front villas. Prices start from Dh2.9 million.

Yas Acres, Aldar’s latest development, was launched in mid-April at Cityscape Abu Dhabi. The Dh6 billion residential and leisure project features 1,315 villas and will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019.

It is available for purchase to all nationalities, and will have amenities that include a golf course, club house, parks, schools, mosques, a yacht club, and a marina.

When it was first launched, Aldar’s chairman said that the relative stability in rental rates is “a clear indication that there is demand in the market,” and pointed that there also isn’t much supply in Abu Dhabi.

In compliance with the emirate’s real estate law, Yas Acres is registered with the Abu Dhabi Municipality, and Escrow accounts are being operated for all purchases.
