Dubai: One of the fast emerging real estate investment locations, Dubai Healthcare City has struck a partnership with Swiss Property, a boutique developer, to increase wellness-themed residential capacity in the free zone’s Phase 2 expansion at Al Jaddaf.

The new project — La Reserve Residences — will be jointly developed by both. The Phase 2 cluster overlooks the widest stretch of the Dubai Water Canal, Dubai Creek and Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. The master plan incorporates specialised health and wellness facilities, residences, retail, hospitality and leisure components. Until now, committed projects make up about 40 per cent of the Phase 2 master plan.

The new project will complement the residential cluster in Phase 2, estimated to have more than 25,000 people living and working in future.

Global wellness market

According to Bader Saeed Hareb, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Investments, “We are pleased to work together to tap into the wellness lifestyle real estate, one of the fastest-growing global wellness markets. DHCC believes that a residential cluster is important to enhance the wellness experience and make the destination liveable.”

La Reserve Residences will have 230 units, from one- to four-bedroom simplex and duplex apartments. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
