Ivanka Trump reveals market-defying sales

Dubai: Ivanka Trump has revealed that Trump Organisation developments have sold for up to 500 per cent above standard market rates.

She said the company's New York buildings usually command a premium of 40 per cent on average, but projects in Hawaii and Panama were sold way even higher above market prices.

"Our project in Hawaii sold out in six hours for $700 million at an average unit price of $1.5 million," she said.

"In Panama the premium was 550 per cent above anything the market had seen. When I first toured the market the average selling price was $125 per square foot for luxury space. We entered the market at $300 per square foot and within two hours we completely stopped and went out again at $550 and the whole building was sold," she added.
