Britain's Imagine Homes launches office in Dubai
Dh500m worth of UK property opens to Gulf.
Dubai: UK buy-to-let property company Imagine Homes yesterday announced the launch of its Dubai office, opening up Dh500 million worth of UK property to the Gulf market.
CEO Grant Bovey said: "The UK's property market has long attracted Middle East investors due to its strong economic backbone. However, GCC investors are often reluctant to research, invest and manage properties from a distance.
"Imagine Homes fills this gap by allowing local buyers better access to investment opportunities in locations such as London and Edinburgh.
Bovey said that the company's unique selling point is a guaranteed 7.5 per cent return per annum over two years.
Imagine Homes currently has 100 staff and attracts property investment experts worldwide and retains 20 per cent of its own stock.
Business development director Alan Wheatley said that the range of developments include apartments with prices starting at Dh800,000.
