Dubai: RAK Porcelain, a subsidiary company of RAK Ceramics, has announced that in the four years since its inception, its portfolio has grown to 15 ranges with more than 1,500 individual articles and 100 design patterns within the three main collections - Hotel, Retail and Airlines.

The 45,000 pieces produced per day are exported to Europe (40 per cent), Middle East and Africa (35 per cent) and the rest of the world (25 per cent).

Renu Oommen, general manager of RAK Porcelain, stated: "Today RAK Porcelain products are in place in over 800 star Hotels worldwide including prestigious landmark properties like the Burj Al Arab or Atlantis The Palm in Dubai.

"We have furthermore established successful preferred-supplier arrangements with Marriott Group, Banyan Tree Group and Taj Group with many more in the pipeline.

"Supply milestones also include airlines like Emirates Lounges across the world, Oman Air, Etihad, Air India, Kenya Airlines, Dana Jets and Royal Jets plus luxury cruise ships like Iberojet," he said.
