Emaar leads early declines in Dubai
Emaar Properties shares declined more than 4 per cent in early trading on Sunday, leading an almost 2 per cent fall on the main index.
Dubai: Emaar Properties shares declined more than 4 per cent in early trading on Sunday, leading an almost 2 per cent fall on the main index.
Shares in Abu Dhabi and Oman edged higher.
Emaar dropped 4.13 per cent, pushing the index down 1.85 per cent to 1,697 points. Dubai Islamic Bank fell 6.15 per cent.
In Abu Dhabi, Methaq Takaful Insurance Co. jumped 9.79 per cent, helping boost the main index up at 0.29 percent to 2,534 points.
