Dubai: Dubai index edged up in early trade on Thursday, recovering after losing for three continuous sessions amid falling crude oil prices.

The Dubai Financial Market General Index was up 1.45 per cent at 3,905.93, after losing 1.2 per cent in the three previous session.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange General Index was also up 0.47 per cent to be at 4,565.02.

Oil held below $48 a barrel before government data that’s forecast to show U.S. crude inventories expanded for a second week.
