Carrefour raises rice prices
Emirates General Market emerges as top price buster in Abu Dhabi while Carrefour had 13 best buys in the UAE.

Dubai: Carrefour has increased the prices of rice, a staple for most UAE residents, and locally produced flour in Dubai.

Carrefour also increased the price of a 12-bottle pack of Masafi mineral water (1.5 litre) from Dh11.80 to Dh13.05.
However, the store had the cheapest chilled mutton from Australia.
In Abu Dhabi, the price buster was Emirates General Market, which offered 18 best deals.
Carrefour had 13 best buys in the emirate, while Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society offered five.
