Al Mansoori Specialised Engineering, an oilfield supplies and services company, has launched its tubular inspection services headquarters at the group's Mussafah facilities in Abu Dhabi.
These services help clients identity defects in pipes, tubes and similar infrastructure.
The tubular inspection services (TIS) headquarters contains about 7,000 square feet of testing floor space.
The Al Mansoori TIS facilities include managerial offices, state-of-the-art training suites and industry-specific climate-controlled inspection bays.
"Al Mansoori has been offering first-class tubular and industrial testing since 1982.
"With clients across the region, this new facility means we can train our staff to the highest levels and service our customers either at the facility or remotely on-site, using the latest technology," said Nabeel Alalawi, managing director.
Hilal Mubarak Al Mansoori, president of Al Mansoori Specialised Engineering, attended the launch, as did guests and dignitaries from Kuwait, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Austria.
The facilities at the headquarters include visual inspection processes, tubular ultrasonic systems, ultra violet (florescent light) testing units, eddy current, hot spot inspection (for non-magnetic collars), tubular packaging systems and state-of-the-art internal camera technology.
Launched in 1982, Al Mansoori Tubular Inspection Services already operates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen and Iran.
