Dubai: Experts at an educational seminar urged potential investors to explore the options of trading in foreign exchange, which is a major attraction in overseas markets.
Iskandar Al Najjar, director of Advanced Currency Markets (ACM) said the foreign exchange market is one of the most attractive investment options that many people are not aware of, or are not utilising to its full potential.
The seminar was held on Monday to discuss the opportunities, potential, risks and technologies in the foreign exchange market.
Hussam Saba, a financial analyst, said in essence, foreign exchange, as an investment, is much better than stocks because it is a more transparent market which does not allow insider trading. Furthermore, foreign exchange is better than stocks in terms of liquidity, timing, execution costs, execution quality and trending.
According to Al Najjar, most of the risks in foreign exchange trading can be easily managed by the investor. "The first step to avoid unnecessary risks is to avoid fraudulent brokers, you need to select a right foreign exchange dealer to avoid scams," he said.
