Dubai: Dewan Architects and Engineers has been appointed lead consultant for the Vision Tower in Business Bay.

Vision Tower will be the landmark skyscraper at the entrance to Business Bay, adjacent to Shaikh Zayed Road, is to become the signature building of the development featuring a distinctive bent glass façade made from a wall of high-tech transparent glazing spanning more than 60 floors.

Designers say that the translucent structure will be internally lit to create a brilliant luminous beacon on the Dubai skyline.

In addition to the eye-catching design, the high-rise tower, with a built-up area of over one million square feet, promises to be one of the largest prime commercial real estate properties in the emirate.

The tower will contain more than 500,000 square feet of prime freehold office space for its tenants.

The Vision Tower will also be seamlessly connected to the Bay Avenue, health club, restaurants, shopping mall and other amenities by an exclusive passage-way.

An extensive parking lot will provide space for over 1,400 cars.

Dewan Architects and Engineers are currently engaged in an extensive portfolio of prestigious developments including commercial and residential towers, hospitality and entertainment developments, sports complexes, and education facilities.

A sample of current projects includes The Fairmont Resort in Abu Dhabi, The Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the Ibn Battuta shopping mMall in Dubai, the Abu Dhabi Yacht Club, the Shangri-la Trader's Hotel in Media City, the Pearl Development in Dubai and the Retail Mall in Dubai Sports City, in additional to other major projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The design architects are US firm TVS International and the client is developer Dubai Properties.
